The Municipal Socialist Group condemns the cruel murder that has ended today with the life of a local resident of Murcia Santiago El Mayor at the hands of their partner.
The PSOE mayor María Dolores Abellon, on behalf of all fellow group members, has expressed his revulsion at a new case of gender violence that has claimed the lives of Murcia.
Also, Abellon has sent solidarity and support to all your family and friends, and all women who are being battered and are victims of male violence.
As Secretary of Equality PSRM, Gloria Martin, the socialist mayor reminded how important it is that citizens are involved in the fight against the eradication of violence against women and the need to report such situations where is at stake the life of a person.
