The Governing Council of the University of Murcia approved the text of the agreement to be entered by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena to come together to call the Campus of International Excellence.
The agreement indicates that the two universities will work together "to set a standard of excellence in teaching, research and innovation of international relevance, as well as the project is an engine for development in the Region of Murcia."
Add the two universities "are committed to establishing strong partnership commitments in actions to excellence and commitment in the transfer of research results in the region."
Furthermore, this commitment will include the creation, maintenance and development of research groups in areas of interest for the development of the southern Mediterranean and the creation of an International Graduate Center and Continuing Education Centre, together with an International School PhD.
The two universities also work together to "develop programs to attract talent and to promote the field of vocational training integrated environments for shared infrastructure and resources to support a strategic grouping."
