Murcia City Council will host during the months of May to July to four Italian students to carry out the practices of a local master and urban development in the framework of the "50 young people in Europe."
The contents of training are related to the implementation of programs and community policy.
The course is run by FORMEZPA-Service Center, Assistance, Studies and Training for the modernization of Public Administration of Italy, which has asked the City Council of Murcia participation in this project.
The project is part of the program of activities organized by the Regional Government of Campania, aimed at the effective achievement of the strategic objectives of cohesion programs and includes the tasks related to preparation, monitoring and control of planning, implementation and monitoring Regional Development Program for 2007-2013.
The overall project goal is to improve and strengthen the capacity of government to use EU funds to state and local development, to enhance programming quality and efficiency of spending, monitoring and reporting on financial activities, improve relations with the offices of the European Union and other EU countries and promote new forms of partnership with other European regions.
Training includes 3 months of classroom hours and two months of practice in institutions and administrations of the European Union and its Member States.
In Murcia, the exercises were developed in the European Programmes Department, acting under the Urban Initiative Project Holy Spirit.
The internship training program is related to the content of external evaluation system of the project and participation processes.
