The "International Symposium of wine hispanieae et oleo", in which debate about the technology and processes of making wine and oil in large geographic areas of farming in the Iberian Peninsula in ancient Rome, addressed in his day tomorrow, day 6, the wine and olive production of the provinces and Tarraconensis Baetica.
At today's meeting national and international experts have analyzed the wine and oil in pre-Roman times and the Lusitania.
The symposium, organized by the Department of Prehistory, Archaeology, Ancient History, Medieval History and Historiography of Science and Technology, University of Murcia and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will run until Friday at the Archaeological Museum of Murcia.
The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, the Director of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage, Enrique Ujaldón, the dean of the Faculty of Arts, José María Jiménez, and the directors of the conference, teachers José Miguel Noguera and Francisco Marsilla.
