The Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, collaborates with the Federation of Karate in the Region of Murcia in the organization of the First International Open Karate Spain, to be held in Murcia in June.
In this regional competition involving the male and female teams of different categories, the modalities of Kata and Kumite.
This is a very important competition that will include the participation of 1,500 karateka.
The tests were carried out at the Palacio de Deportes.
It also collaborates with Deportes Futbol Bacons Bridge Club and the Rugby Club Murcia University in order that their teams participate in competitions federated.
With these initiatives the City is committed to the promotion and dissemination of sport among the citizens of the municipality.
