Abarán municipalities of Murcia, Aguilas, Alhama, Blanca, Cartagena, Cehegín, Cieza, La Union, Lorca, Los Alcazares, Molina de Segura, Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar, Santomera, Torre Pacheco Totana Yecla, will host this year 49 of the 51 activities scheduled by the Universidad Internacional del Mar.
The summer school program at the University of Murcia in this issue extends to two neighboring communities: the Valencia, with a course in Torrevieja and for the first time in the 27-year history of the University of the Sea, the Balearic as the Ibizan town of San Antonio de Portmany will host this year of one of the courses.
The starting point of the Universidad Internacional del Mar will, as usual, the course of the Three Cultures, which will run from 24 to 28 May under the title 'The images of women in the Three Cultures', and will feature the supervision of Professor José María Jiménez Cano.
The remaining courses will be held during the months of June, July and September.
