The mayor insists that "first" to do the urban transport company is paying workers (29/04/2010)

"The first thing the company needs to do is to pay salaries to workers."

The Mayor wanted to reiterate that message today, which yesterday reported the committee representatives of the concessionary companies of public transport, with whom he had a meeting requested by employees.

House has insisted that the city of Murcia is fulfilling its commitments.

Clear evidence is that in the past three years local government has paid 24.4 million euros to lower the ticket price and thus encourage public transport use among citizens.

"We are making a substantial financial effort and ask that you comply with the terms of the lease and charged workers," he said.
