Continue the campaign that allows Murcia get a movie ticket in exchange for ten batteries, launched by the Department of Environment, German (Local Energy Agency on Climate Change) and Neocine.

This initiative seeks to promote the recycling of batteries while Murcia encouraged to attend the town cinemas.

So, on Thursday April 29th and every Thursday May Neocine rooms, shopping centers and Thader Zig Zag and Rex and Centrofama cinemas, offering two tickets for the price of anyone who delivers ten cells used.

To be able to manage the collected batteries are installed in different containers movie ticket.

This promotion is not valid for 3D rooms, or combined with other offers.

Thus, it aims to raise awareness of the importance of Murcia properly manage used batteries to avoid being a threat to the environment.

Remember that batteries contain potentially toxic compounds that can contaminate large quantities of water and affect the environment if not operated properly.

Last year the city collected a total of 28,788 alkaline batteries were placed in special containers 471 collection boxes located in the village, and located in the 464 parishes, as well as media and the muppies ecoparks phones.

This represents an increase of 30.5% compared to 2008, the year in which 19,900 cells were collected.

This initiative is part of the Local Strategy to Combat Climate Change, whose plan of action on sustainability runs the city of Murcia, through ALEM, which aims, among others, reducing emissions by 20% municipality 2020.
