The Government Team will present a motion to require to be carried out all possible actions to maintain the Cristo de Monteagudo (11/02/2010)

The Municipal People's presented at the next plenary session to be held on Thursday 25 February, a motion to require that the various administrative bodies and / or jurisdiction to take measures to ensure conservation of Cristo de Monteagudo.

Although the Board of Governors yesterday gave the most important step to maintain the monument that is to ask the autonomous region is declared of cultural interest, with this motion is intended to reinforce this decision by the Team, reiterating its opposition to any attempt to remove the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus "as it is one of the hallmarks of Murcia."
