The training plan for 2010 includes 52 stocks and about 1,500 hours (30/01/2010)

The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning the proposed application for assistance to the Ministry of Public Administration for the Continuing Education Plan of the City Council in 2010, according to Resolution of December 16, 2009, the National Institute Public Administration, which convened for the financial year 2010, support for continuing training plans under the Agreement on Continuous Training IV in Public Administration.

The proposed application of the Plan, to be referred to the INAP for the grant, has been developed jointly and agreed with the three union locals have signed the agreement at the national level, Continuing Education in Public Administration, CCOO, UGT and CSIF.

Murcia City Council is participating in the call for aid training plans INAP since its inception in 1995.

The Continuing Education Plan for 2010 include a total of 52 training activities, with 55 editions, with 1,164 attendees expected, which would involve 1,489 hours of training.

The proposed grant application for this year amounts to 181,352 euros.

Among the training activities that are requested, we can highlight, among others, the course, including the legal and procedural area on "Electronic Signature Law", and in the area of skills, Communication and Citizen, the course called "Intervention with women victims of violence from a gender perspective", intended mainly for Local Police Service, also include a course on "Gender Mainstreaming", with which it is intended that participants acquire the knowledge necessary to gender mainstreaming in their work and to acquire and learn to use tools for equality.

As for Tele-training modality, it is noteworthy that after the great success that has led in recent years, this year has increased the number of training activities to be carried out through this training method.

Specifically, we have provided a total of 16 training activities in the areas of information technology, legal and procedural skills, communication and citizen services and prevention of occupational hazards, through which may be trained a total of 480 attendees.

This way of learning enables the creation of a participatory learning environment among all participants of the training, giving all staff of the Municipality of Murcia access to training, regardless of work schedule, as it is done entirely through Internet, with only two classes: the first for the presentation and explanation of management and the latest platform which performs the test, this time that the assistant should demonstrate the knowledge acquired during the course

Last year, under the aid amounting to 89,842 euros, took out a total of 30 training activities, with 352 participants and 785 hours of training.

Those attending the same, municipal employees of the City of Murcia, are distributed to all municipal services.
