The State Fund invests in La Alberca over € 1.3 million and created 83 jobs

The garden will feature Los Almendros new furnishings, recreational items, and plantations

Murcia receives EUR 121.3 million in just two years through funds from the Government of Spain

La Alberca, January 29, 2010 .- The Government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has visited the day's various works of the Local Investment Fund that the Government of Spain is making in the village of La Alberca with an investment of 1,379,361 euros, which have led to the creation of 83 jobs (of which 54 were built and 29 people are newly created).

During the visit has been accompanied by regional deputy Begoña García Retegui and the Socialist spokesman in the city of Murcia, María José Alarcón.

Specifically, viewing works from the Plan E is made in the Garden of Los Almendros, which has carried out a space adaptation that has had, in turn, involving the installation of recreational, planting, paving , new furniture and infrastructure groups.

The investment has been from 117,000 euros and has employed 12 workers.

Later, have moved to the works of the new Public Library located at Cano Gómez Pintor, in which the Government of Spain has carried out an investment of 427,500 euros and has given employment to 32 people.

Finally, we have approached the soccer field facilities of La Alberca, which has invested 389,161 euros and has given employment to 19 people for the installation of artificial turf and renovation of irrigation and drainage.

The Government delegate pointed out that

State Fund has also been used in La Alberca in paving roads and sidewalks in the district, amounting to 328,700 euros and create 20 new jobs, and the renovation of the Garden on the streets of Santiago, with an investment of 117,000 euros.

González Tovar said that the work of the State Fund are meeting the primary objective of this, job creation, but also are helping to improve infrastructure and facilities of the municipality.

"The City of Murcia has had full autonomy to present the project and chose the actions deemed most necessary, at the same time, the Government of Spain is fully financed all the works," said González Tovar.

In this regard, the delegation pointed out that the City of Murcia has a total of 121 projects amounting to 74,841,430 euros and generating 3,345 jobs, of which 902 are newly created and 2443 of persons within enterprises.

The delegate also informed that the new State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability to be invested in 2010, will involve a further economic boost for the city of Murcia of 46,547,891 euros.

Burying of refuse containers in La Alberca
