A step to the integration of immigrant women from the hand of Radio ECCA Foundation (26/01/2010)

CEIP "Our Lady of Tears" head of Torres has welcomed Tuesday January 26, the intercultural encounter "participate.

At the end of the ceremony, attendees enjoyed a taste of tea and sweets offered by the group of students from the workshop for immigrant women.

Project with immigrant women

The "cultural participation of immigrant women" was launched by Radio ECCA Foundation on 16 September, will extend until March 31 and benefit from it about 80 women.

Among its objectives include to meet the existing barriers immigrant women face cultural participation and to create tools and spaces for social and cultural participation of this group to integrate successfully and your family in the school and social environment.

Apart from the head center of Torres, the project also developed at school, "Cervantes" and the CEIP "Our Lady of Consolation" Molina de Segura, in the CEIP "Los Rosales" El Palmar) and CEIP Nuestra Señora del Carmen "Alguazas.

Furthermore, it also works with a group at the residence of the Third Age "Our Lady of Health" from Sewell.

Other purposes of this project are to respond to identified needs among immigrant women about the social and cultural participation, and to inform immigrant women the reality of today's woman.

To this end, we have scheduled several workshops, visits, meetings and conferences as it held in the CEIP "Our Lady of Tears."
