Murcia City Council, through the Department of Social Welfare, Gender Equality Policies and Citizenship, who heads María del Carmen Pelegrin, has launched a competition to create the logo that identifies the Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men , responding to the same motto: "Equality Murcia."
The logo will be used to visualize the activities and actions to develop all Councillors and Municipal Services and form part of the Municipal Plan for Equality, whose objectives includes the promotion of gender equality and / or prevention of gender violence.
The contest is open to people over 16 years, and entities with legal personality.
Participation will be through a pseudonym and may submit proposals up to two original and unpublished.
The work at present is composed of the logo and logo, responding to the slogan "Equality Murcia, the ultimate show of the same: the commitment of the City of Murcia to the achievement of equality between women and men in all fields public and private life of citizens.
Also presented the logo design will be standardized in A4 format, and can use free polychrome, but always must be accompanied by the monochrome version and easily reproducible from the visual point of view, and their correspondence in CMYK and BN.
Each work must be accompanied by a report describing the same, indicating the sources of inspiration based on the design presented, and it must be accompanied by technical data indicating typography, colors, sizes and tool used.
The work will be delivered completely finished, with the vector image format (Freehand or Illustrator) and accompanied by a copy on computer and high quality JPEG format.
Works must be submitted in a sealed envelope identified by the pseudonym, and will be accompanied by a second sealed envelope which accompanied the Application Form and a photocopy of the ID of people CIF participant or participating entity.
The presentation of the works will be carried out to 14'00 pm on February 4, 2010 personally or through courier: Women's Section, Calle Eulogio Soriano, s / n, 30001 Murcia.
The jury's decision will be made public through the municipal website on February 11, 2010 to be final.
The jury may award the prize if deemed appropriate.
The winning work will become the property of the City of Murcia, who can play it, transfer it and use it in the manner it deems appropriate without any financial compensation or consideration for anyone who holds responsibility for the same.
There is only one prize of 500 euros which is subject to income tax withholdings for marking the Law
