The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has approved five projects for the rehabilitation, adaptation and re-creation of social centers in districts of the municipality.
The total budget amounts to 2,357,776 euros initiatives and employ 115 people.
These works are included in the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability.
1.
Community Center Expansion Llano de Brujas.
The work will consist of the union of a newly built annex attached to the existing center, so as to expand the capacity of the existing multipurpose room.
The center is located on Main Street Llano de Brujas, corner of Calle Sol
It has been proposed extending the hall to the cafeteria space on the plot of the equipment.

2.
Suitability of premises for the Social Centre The Rane.

The objective is to locate in the current local small meeting room for 30 people, which in turn is used as a classroom / workshop.

3.
Rehabilitation of the municipal center of El Palmar.
The rehabilitation will focus on the adequacy of the existing building to improve the various municipal departments of social and cultural located in it.
The center is located on Main Street in El Palmar and the draft included the preservation of the facade and the basic structure.

New Community Centre in the district of La Azacaya.

It will build a center of 400 square meters on one floor and will have a meeting room for 50 people, an Internet room and four classrooms, workshop and offices for various associations and groups in the area.
The lead time is seven months, the budget of 368,185 euros and works 20 people work.
5.
Lobosillo new Community Centre.
The works consist of constructing a new building for a day center for seniors activities in the environment.
The site is in the journey Calvo Sotelo street corner with a new opening.
The building will cover an area of 700 square meters with a floor designed to cafeteria and multipurpose hall.
On the first floor there will be a reading room, hairdressing, physiotherapy room and office.
In addition, other units will be incorporated as a reception area, toilets and storage.
The lead time is seven months, the budget of 919,416 euros and works 40 people work.
Beniaján Auditorium Renovation
The work of this project will include comprehensive reform of the stage, since their dimensions are high enough (it is to eliminate the current ceiling and replace it with a sound insulation at higher elevations and change the stage floor), modernization equipment (you want to incorporate a power grid with different poles for mounting and lighting, electrical and audiovisual replace and amend the store), replacement of carpet and textile side facing slabs of plasterboard in the public room, intending to improve sound and sanitary conditions, reform of the clubhouse incorporating toilets and showers, air conditioning in the rooms of music, dance hall and other rooms, soundproofing drum room, reform and sound booth in the lobby first floor and painted the interior of the building.
The implementation period is five months, the budget of 224,692 euros and works 15 people work.
