The PSOE says "House does not count" (12/01/2010)

"Despite the interest of the mayor of Murcia to bury the important archaeological finds in the garden, where the City wanted to build a park at all costs"

The Socialist Party spokesman, María José Alarcón, it welcomes the announcement made public yesterday by the chairman of the CARM, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, for the enhancement and preservation of the site of St. Stephen, was declared a Site of Cultural, as well as the immediate continuation of the excavation.

Again unauthorized

Besides expressing their joy, Alarcón again regret the attitude of the mayor of Murcia throughout this process.

"If not disallow Valcárcel, House had decided to bury the important archaeological finds lower garden, where the municipal chief wanted to build a park at all costs."

In this sense, the PSOE spokesman said that Valcárcel has left a camera again offside, leaving him in ridiculous and without him (remember that at its meeting yesterday afternoon with the expert commission was not present .)

Further evidence Alarcon insists the lack of understanding between Valcárcel and House, who again had to bow to the decision of the president of the Community, after acting in a way quite hypocritical and unfortunate with which he has put at risk even heritage of all Murcia.

But despite his attitude, socialist spokesman reiterates the most important thing is that the enhancement and recognition of St. Stephen's site is becoming a reality.

Brave and loyal

Thus, Alarcon has re-emphasized the role that citizen platform has been all this time in defense of the site, and have impeccable work done by archaeologists.

"They have reacted to brave and loyal an outrage over PP and have been rewarded for their generous efforts in defending the general interests over individuals."

Finally, the PSOE spokesman acknowledged that it was worth the defense held the Socialist Group for the conservation of archaeological finds, its value and building a future for the municipality on the basis of our history that will generate employment and wealth.
