Students sought through his works that society is aware that a problem that should not be in the private sector.

The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, visited the exhibition of student work, on the occasion of the Second Conference on Gender Violence held from 16 to 20 November, are presented in units of the National Institute Social Security (INSS) and the Multipurpose Building of the Delegation of the Government, Alfonso X El Sabio.

As part of this conference in which they engage the Government Delegation in Murcia through the Coordinating Unit to Combat Violence Against Women, the students of the IES of Stables, the IES Poeta Sánchez Bautista de Llano de Brujas and Fine Arts of the University of Murcia, aiming to raise awareness in society that male violence is a social problem to which we react, a problem we must make visible and return unacceptable.

To that end, Gonzalez Tovar stressed the importance of the works submitted by students and that these days are displayed in five locations, four of them administrative, such as the Government Office, Multiple Services Building, the Institute National Social Security and Moneo Center Exhibition Hall Market district of Barrio del Carmen.

The teachers of drawing and Maria Carmen Romero Campbell, the Poet IES Sánchez Bautista, Professor Asunción Pérez, IES Stables, and Professor of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Murcia Eva Santos acted as "curators" of these exhibitions to publicize the work of its various students regarding gender violence.

"Art, becomes a vehicle for consciousness and help remove social change, attitudes change, or simply to reflect on one of the major ills of our society," said the delegate of the Government.

González Tovar has talked with the authors of the works as well as people at that time made use of public space as citizens, to exchange views on their perception of the problem or just their feelings toward the works shown.

For its part, the authors of the works have explained the process followed in the creation and meaning of them.

Some of these works, particularly those outlined in the multipurpose building, entitled "Because it was mine" and conducted by the IES CHAN Arquerías Collective, and has evoked some reactions as too "cruel" (representing three women killed.)

The authors have attempted to show that it is a cruel situation that is leading to the deaths of many women each year and the art is intended to be the voice of social protest
