Eleven bands participating this year in the nineteenth edition of the National Band Contest Music 'Ciudad de Murcia' held on 14, 15 and 28 November in the Auditorium and Congress Center Victor Villegas de Murcia.

El día 14 de noviembre actuarán las bandas de la Asociación de la Escuela de Música de Bullas, la Unión Musical San Fulgencio (Alicante), la Sociedad Musical y Cultural Otobesa de Jérica (Castellón) y la Banda de Música de la Asociación Cultural Níjar (Almería).

La pieza obligada es 'Orient express' de Philipp Sparke.

Estas agrupaciones participan en la Tercera Sección (hasta 50 músicos).

 

On November 15 the Musical Society perform the Harmonic Cox (Alicante), Musician Association Cultiral Burrows (Albacete), Cultural Musician Association 'The Muses' Guadalupe and the Association of Musical Caravaca de la Cruz.

The test piece is 'Vasa' Jose Suner.

These bands participating in the Second Section (51 to 70 musicians).

On Saturday 28 November, will involve the SA: "The Philharmonic 'in Callosa de Segura (Alicante), the Agrupación Musical Santa Cecilia de Castalla (Alicante) and the Friends of Music of Yecla.

The work is required to interpret the 'Cartoon' by Paul Hart.

These groups participate in the First Section (from 71 to 90 musicians).

To access the concerts of the Festival is to withdraw the invitations the day of each concert at the Auditorio Victor Villegas box office.

El jurado estará compuesto por personalidades del mundo de la música y representantes del Ayuntamiento de Murcia.
