Carpena question in the Assembly for the cause of an outbreak of head lice in the Hospital 'Reina Sofía' (29/10/2009)

The health official of the Socialist Group, Domingo Carpena, has submitted several questions for written reply in the Regional Assembly, addressed to the Minister of Health, M Âª Ángeles Palacios, which is interested in a possible infestation of lice Hospital Universitario "Reina Sofía".

Given the situation that has occurred in the 5th floor of the Hospital Universitario "Reina Sofía", where, apparently, there is a plague or infestation of lice, which is affecting the patients and their families, the Socialist deputy asked what was the cause that has caused such infestation.

Also, Domingo Carpena, ask the minister, how many patients, relatives or health workers have been affected by it and what measures have been taken from the Ministry of Health to eradicate it.
