The University of Murcia installed on the campus of Mercy Antonio Campillo a sculpture donated by Caja Mediterráneo, which will serve as a tribute to the honorary doctor whose death occurred some months ago.
At the unveiling of the sculpture, called "Sunset in the Garden", involved the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, the Minister of Universities, Business and Research, Salvador Marín, the government delegate in Murcia, Rafael Gonzalez, President of the Territorial Council in Murcia of that financial institution, Angel Martinez.
The tribute, which took place in the courtyard of the campus, opposite the door of the Chamber, included a performance by the Chamber Orchestra of University of Murcia.
