The Socialist councilor Marcos Ros file a motion at the next plenary asking the PP to include in the 2010 municipal budget the necessary items to run these two actions would mean the permanent closure of the first belt round the town of Murcia

The Socialist councilor Marcos Ros propose to the PP in the House next Thursday, by a motion, the expansion to three lanes Fica Bridge in south-north direction, and extending south to the road Ronda Sewer.

"We are in the months prior to the drafting and preparation of municipal budgets for 2010 and is therefore an opportune time to include items sufficient and able to run these two actions would mean the permanent closure of the first round of Town Belt Murcia city, "said Ros.

"Eight years without extension"

In this sense, the PSOE mayor recalled that the General Plan of 2001 provides for an extension of South Round up your connection to the existing road culvert.

"It's been eight years and have not started any formality for the execution and implementation of this section, as necessary to close almost the first urban belt and interconnect all entrances and exits of the town," complains Ros.

"Easy solution

Concerning the extension to three lanes of the Bridge of Fica, the Socialist councilor said that, although it has three lanes in the north-south, has only two north-south direction.

According to Ros and as a consequence of this narrowing, there is a considerable accumulation of daily vehicles on the 'black spot', "easily solved if the bridge is expanded to three lanes."
