The second phase of Plan E is for socialists Murcia "a commitment to Murcia, a commitment to the future" (23/10/2009)

The spokesman for the PSOE, José María Alarcón, announces that the second part of the E Plan (adopted today in the Council of Ministers) evidence that the Socialists "invest in the municipality in such key areas as employment and social sustainability"

The second phase of Plan E for Murcia involve an investment of 108 euros per inhabitant.

"A sample more than clear that the Socialists are investing in the municipality in such key areas as employment and social sustainability," said the spokesman of the PSOE, José María Alarcón.

The Zapatero Executive has allocated to municipalities in Spain 13,000 million euros in two years, compared to 650 million euros of Aznar in four years (2000 to 2004), recalls Alarcón, who says that this new investment by the Government of Spain will complement the historic investment in the first part of the plan in Murcia.

Social and educational policies

As news of the plan point out that money can be devoted primarily to works, but that 20% of that should be devoted to social spending projects identified that are included in the 2010 municipal budgets, especially those related to social and educational policies.

Participation

Regarding the submission of projects is 3 months until 31 January.

"We hope that during this time, the PP will lead to the participation of both political groups present in the Consistory as residents of the municipality, who have ideas to contribute," says Alarcón.

Unemployed and self-recruitment of SMEs

Once the award occurs, continues Alarcón, is assigned 85% of the money, and as the chief end of Plan E is the creation of employment, it provides for the hiring of freelancers, especially those who are unemployed, and small and medium enterprises in the municipality of Murcia.

Building Monitoring Committee

Other highlights of the plan is the creation of a Monitoring Committee headed by government delegates in each Autonomous Community, with the participation of unions, employers and representatives of the Federation of Municipalities.

Changing production model

Another of the priorities of government stimulus plan, and the creation and maintenance of employment, is the change in the production model.

"It will take place later works for the intelligence and well-being, which will also serve Murcia modernize and improve the quality of life of Murcia", highlights the Socialist spokesman.
