The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has been one of the thousands of Murcia this morning wanted to approach the tent set up by the Provincial Association of Bakers in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga to celebrate World Bread Day
The commemoration has been held in major cities around the world, whose citizens have been enjoying the exhibition and tasting of different types of bread.
In Murcia, have distributed 10,000 sandwiches of different flavors.
It has charged the students of the School of Bakery, while a team of nutrition experts have devoted the time to explain the advantages and benefits of carbohydrate consumption and, in particular bread.
Miguel Angel House has welcomed them all and stressed the importance of including the bread in the usual diet because the important thing is to have a balanced diet, and it is therefore necessary to eat bread.
"I do every day," he said.
