More than 9,400 people will participate in the 481 courses, workshops and seminars of the Cultural Centers (14/10/2009)

The Township Cultural Center have developed the most extensive program of activities and greater participation of all organized so far.

The Department of Popular Culture Festival and will open tomorrow, Thursday the deadline for 9,406 people (138 more than last year) to join one of the 481 courses, workshops and seminars (21 more than in 2008) that the Cultural Centers offer this year .

In addition, this issue must be added to the list a new facility, Santo Angel, to be opened soon so that the network and will feature 47 cultural centers.

Among the new activities in this edition include:

1 .- History seminars at several centers, that cover the role of women in history, art history through film, local history, heritage of the municipality of Murcia and the articulation of three cultures.

In Espinardo will be held an interesting seminar on the history of the town through the Cultural Heritage, and the completion of historical research in the neighborhood of El Carmen in the twentieth century, with the culmination of a thematic exhibition.

2 .- Activities Music: The music spans many districts across the structuring of various choral groups in Corvera, The Esparragal, El Carmen, Javalí Viejo, Bacons Bridge, La Paz and Santa Cruz.

In addition, many districts begin the approach and knowledge of the guitar through seminars and workshops.

3 .- Cuisine: Various actions related to the kitchen as well as knowledge of the mixture of flavors and culture of wine and beer tasting, cooking holiday, miniature, Mediterranean, vegetarian, chocolate shops ...

4 .- Encounters of gangs in the Albatalía and Torreagüera.

5 .- It is noteworthy programming in the Municipal Centre of El Carmen in the 2009 Winter School, Cycle IV Religious and Popular Music.

6 .- Torreagüera, Guadalupe, Santo Angelo and Torres Cabezo Auditorium, will develop initiatives related to access to computers, internet navigation and management of telematic technologies.

Moreover, within the overall supply of training activities is a wide variety of initiatives ranging from workshops in cribs, pottery, basketry, through modeling and sculpture, painting, watercolor, photography (analog and digital), food (tasting, cooking improvised ...), cultural heritage, film, dance, computer, internet ...

To all this we must add the special interest has been in the program to spread the culture as samples and Zarandona Guadalupe Theater, the Seventh Conference on Popular Culture in the Huerta de Murcia, the Eighth Meeting Point Choral Groups Cultural Rights, Intercultural Encounters I saw Carmen and La Paz and Santiago XI Cultural Week and Zaraíche.

Another novelty is that the Cultural Centre in April Espinardo receive a cash prize thanks to a strategic line of the Urban Plan which will strengthen cultural activities and events in the Holy Spirit Espinardo Barrio.

For the final configuration of the lists, only if the positions offered are overwhelmed by the number of entries, a public lottery will be held in each school under the supervision of the head of each center.

The day for the draw is October 22, between 10 and 12 hours.

The final lists, including, where appropriate, the waiting list for each activity, will be released on October 23.
