The UCAM today introduced the Programme for Internationalisation of SMEs in the Region of Murcia (13/10/2009)

"The economy must be outward-Murcia," said the director as the Chair CAM entrepreneurs, Gonzalo Wandosell, during the briefing on implementation of the Programme of Internationalization of SMEs in the Region of Murcia, held at the UCAM.

This program is jointly developed by the agency and the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) from the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, held at the UCAM.

Those responsible for this initiative include main objectives, to promote the internationalization of SMEs in Murcia and create value for the economy and the industrial sector Murcia.

Gonzalo Wandosell positively stressed joint collaborative project developed by the Chair CAM entrepreneurs and the EOI.

"In the UCAM are aware of the importance to the economy of Murcia, the internationalization of SMEs, in order to consolidate a sustainable and profitable growth of its turnover in an open competitive market like the present."

Wandosell explained that "this ambitious program will provide employers wishing to embark on the conquest of foreign markets or strengthen the internationalization of their businesses with the tools necessary to complete this process with greater assurance of success."

For its part, the director for the Mediterranean of the EOI, school inspired by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Joaquín Martínez Campillo, said that this project will be especially beneficial for Micro SMEs, which account for over 90% of companies in Murcia.

Martínez Campillo has also stressed the need to internationalize the company prior to be competitive in foreign markets.
