More workshops, more space and activities on the street is the proposal of the Department of Youth and Employment, headed María Dolores Sánchez, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Networks program.

Season 1 October to 13 December is full of activities and sports workshops, recreational, cultural, charitable and health, which are organized taking into account the preferences of young people.

This season will feature three new areas: the new Youth Space for the Youth Council m2 '585 'located in the Plaza Toledo, IES Alfonso X and the sports club The Kanteras of El Palmar.

Among the new activities for these months is the addition of workshops in relaxation techniques, Break Dance, bellydance, Bollywood, digital photo processing, cooking workshops in traditional pot of Murcia, Murcia Christmas sweets shop, shop bangles and beads and Christmas decorations workshop.

All these activities are free.

Another innovation is the organization of a mixed championship Football 7 to be held in the Club Deportivo Las Kanteras and the winners will get a voucher of EUR 300 sports equipment for the winner and a voucher for 150 euros, for the latter.

In addition, the Youth Council continues to provide outdoor activities for young people to play sport and cultural visits related to nature.

-Visit to the observatory, November 6 (5 euros)

-Climbing and caving, Nov. 7 ($ 25)

-Visit the Terra Natura, November 14 (10 euros)

-Visit the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, November 21 (20 euros)

-Night itinerary in the mountains of Columbares, November 28 (12 euros)

"Cross-country skiing, December 12 (40 euros)

"Walking with snowshoes, December 13 (30 euros)

It is ten weekends of activities with the aim of offering young people healthy alternatives for leisure time with a supportive and inclusive character.

To celebrate this tenth anniversary year of the REDES program has changed the image of the program, has introduced a new logo and will be a day of street activities to publicize the program and encourage youth and families participate.

Balance

Over 19,000 youth have participated in network activities in the period from February to June 2009.

Of the total participants, 48% were women and 52% men.

During the 17 weekends of the first half of the year that has developed the program have participated half of 1,120 young people each weekend.
