More fuel for the anti-graffiti squads (29/07/2009)

Stop the graffiti on the walls of public schools in the municipality is the goal with anti-graffiti crews, employees of the Department of Education, which directs Megía Pilar.

The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has this morning approved the supply of paint and equipment for public schools dependent on City Hall.

Anti-graffiti brigades are made up of seven workers, a total of about 14 workers who attend different public schools in the municipality.

Graffiti clean-ups are nearly a hundred since it was set up these brigades during 2007-2008.Hasta far have painted more than 5,000 square meters of fronts, with enamel squares 2,161 meters have been used 273 liters of enamel for wood and 249 liters to repair the windows and wrought iron gates, plus it also has been used more than 60 liters of antigrafito to prevent further material on the walls freshly painted clean.
