The Councillor for Infrastructure highlights the rapid response and service key
Maintenance and repair of public roads of the city has led the Maintenance Service of the Municipality of Murcia, under the Department of Infrastructure and Community Services, directed by José Arce, to undertake some 2,057 emergency action throughout the first half 2009.
Arce wanted to highlight the effectiveness of the service and the speed with which they rush and meet tight deadlines and it is small-scale performances and for which there is no need to carry out the procedures required a larger work.
The quick response and promptness in resolving the problem are considered by the owner of Infrastructure and Community Services, the key features of this service.
The reposión and removal of pins in different streets of the city is one of the most numerous, since in these six months there have been 1,322 acts of this type.
On the other hand, have also made 254 repairs sidewalks, acting on a surface of 536 square meters, 90 repairs and 116 asphalt repairs several (join manhole covers, rebated on sidewalks, replacement of railings ...).
In addition, we have put in more than 30 cubic meters of sand on the edge of the curbs on some 40 streets, during Holy Week and have made a total of 185 pots aside.
