The Imperial Russian Ballet presents tomorrow Belluga Scheherazade & Bolero Square, with music by Rimsky-Korsakov and Ravel (06/07/2009)

The famous ballerina Maya Plisetskaya is the founder of Ballet and its artistic director is Gediminas Tarand, who was soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow

Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7, at 22 am in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, the Imperial Russian Ballet will present Scheherazade & Bolero, with music by Rimsky-Korsakov and Ravel, in the VI Belluga Festival, organized by the Foundation and the City Council Cajamurcia the city.

Released on June 4, 1910 at the Theatre National de l 'Opéra de Paris by Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, the ballet in one act Scheherazade is based on the story about Shakhriar and brother of The Thousand and One Nights.

For its part, Bolero is a musical work by French composer Maurice Ravel in 1928 and premiered at the Opera Garnier in Paris on November 28 that year.

Ballet composed and dedicated to the dancer Ida Rubinstein, his immediate universal success and rapid spread have become not only one of the most famous works of the composer, but also one of the exponents of twentieth-century music.

The choreography of this ballet was created by Nikolay Androsov especially for the Russian Imperial Ballet and first solo, Maya Plisetskaya and Gediminas Taranda.

The famous ballerina Maya Plisetskaya founded in 1994, the Russian Imperial Ballet and was its honorary president and general counsel until 2004.

Today, the artistic director of Ballet is Gediminas Taranda who has been principal soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and he studied under the direction of choreographer Yuri Grigorovich.

The repertoire includes Ballet great classical ballets as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Carmen, and Don Quixote, among others.

The Main Stage Ballet in Moscow Novaya Opera Theater where he made his representations combining them with international and national tours.

The company is widely known in Japan, Finland, USA, France, Spain, Austria, Germany, Israel, Lebanon, Greece, Tunisia, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Croatia and New Zealand.

The ticket for the show is free to fill seats.

The exhibition will open approximately 21 hours, once the sound check.

The Festival will continue on Thursday Belluga July 9 with a Pop-Rock concert by the Symphonic Orchestra Teatro Castelar, directed by Octavio J.
