Murcia host for a week to 35 young Europeans will discuss climate change, global warming and the greenhouse effect.
This is an initiative of the Department of Youth, directed by María Dolores Sánchez, along with the Department of Environment and Urban Quality, who runs Adela Martínez-Cache, and Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo.
The objective of this project, called "With energy climate change ', is to extract ideas on how you can from the associations, schools and youth groups to promote personal behavior committed to the environment.
Participants will become 'Ecolíderes' to be responsible for raising awareness and implementing initiatives that help stop global warming, providing local solutions.
Since the public plays a key role because it emits 60% of emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
This initiative is funded by the Youth Programme of the European Commission.
Young people, from Murcia, Turin (Italy), Mecklenburg (Germany), Slovenia, Kokkola (Finland), discuss the August 28 to September 3 in the Environmental Education Center of the CAM (CEMACAM of Torregüil) proposed slow the rate of emissions of greenhouse gases and climate change effects.
