Dismantled marijuana plantation installed in a building of Bacons Bridge (04/06/2009)

Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia belonging to the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police have dismantled a facility dedicated to the cultivation of marijuana located in a building in the town of Bacons Bridge.

The research that has enabled us to carry out this operation, developed from obtaining a series of clues that pointed to JMPT, a resident of Bacons Bridge 41, Spanish nationality as possible perpetrators of crime against public health.

One of the elements which confirmed the suspicions of the researchers was the discovery of an abandoned vehicle by JMPT after an accident in which a box appeared with traces of drugs.

The steps taken to verify that the investigation led maintained relations with EPNE, 38 years of age and citizen of Ecuador, with whom he often went to a building in the town of Bacons Bridge.

Later it was found that researchers were transported to that place items such as bulbs, bags of soil and fertilizer, electricity and other useful material commonly used in illegal drug plantations.

These elements, along with others such as the manipulation of power supply systems of the building, confirmed the researchers' evidence that on June 25, after having obtained the appropriate warrant, proceeded to make a measure of entry and search of the that registered, confirming that one of the rooms in the house had installed an elaborate system for growing marijuana, which had about sixty pots of this plant, assisted ventilation mechanisms, lights and gas extraction systems.

Besides the above, at the home were seized some bags of cocaine and 2,200 grams of substance for the adulteration of the substance, along with other elements commonly used for processing and handling of drugs, such as precision scales, hydraulic jacks, presses and seals.

During registration MJPA arrested, aged 23 and Paraguayan nationality.

Later there was another record, at the home of EPNE in the city of Murcia, where they found 7 grams of cocaine, a precision scale, handgun ammunition and elements similar to those found in the previous record, such as lamps high power, pots, transformers or fans.

The detainees have been made available to the examining magistrate in Murcia Guard functions.
