Around one thousand students and volunteers participating in the seminar UCAM Credit `solidarity 'People affected by terrorism or accidents gave their testimonies (29/04/2009)

The event, organized by the Department of Human and Religious Sciences at the Catholic University, had the cooperation of the Association of Victims of Terrorism, and the Federation of Associations of People with Spinal Cord Injury and severe physical disabilities (ASPAYM).

The event also served to present the 2009 Summer Camp in Peru.

The session began with two separate statements by the president of the Association of Victims of Terrorism Murcia, Alejandro Urteaga and the victim of ETA Juan José García Martínez, who designed a video with testimonies from relatives and victims of the terrorist organization, and shared their own experience with students.

Then ASPAYM representatives, launched the campaign 'Prevention of road injury' and explained their experience as persons affected by accidents.

The event concluded with the reading of findings on the interventions of the day, by participating students.

The Vice Chancellor of University Extension, and director of the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer Juan Pablo II UCAM, Antonio Alcaraz, welcomed the conclusion of the seminar said Solidarity Credit and commented that "this activity aims at the Catholic University students, know and become involved in various solidarity and voluntary work carried out by the University. "
