Note from PSOE:
Socialist Councilman José Manuel Abellán regrets the decision taken by the CARM reduced hours on four bus lines between Murcia and hamlets.
"We have no choice but to reject this situation, again, hurts the users districts, Abellán complaint.
Therefore, the PSOE mayor today will join the protest called by the Neighborhood Association of Los Garres against the cuts in the bus line.
The event will take place at 17.00 am at the level crossing the path of the Open.
Bus Lat reported changes in the hourly frequency of buses to make the journey on the Path of The Open.
"If we pass the bus every 40 minutes, in the near future will happen every 80" they complain.
In this sense, Abellán requires the general direction of Transport to take appropriate measures to prevent these cuts in services as essential for the citizens of villages.
Too many shortcomings
Similarly, the socialist mayor points out that public transportation in the municipality accumulates too many deficiencies that cause, every day, many problems for users, especially those in villages.
The most expensive rates in Spain, lines and inadequate frequency, schedules that do not meet the needs of citizens, no lines to major employment centers and large estates, lack of exclusive platforms, clearing booster buses at peak times, continuous and repeated cuts and totally obsolete bus fleet with broken seats, lack of heating and air conditioning, doors that do not close properly because the rubber seal gets broken and cold, lack of cleanliness, etc.
"The PP can not remain unmoved, particularly when the evidence suggests that policy in this matter is a complete failure," concludes Abellán.
