Communications expert Ángel Meseguer Conesa, PhD from the University of Murcia, is the author of a study indicating that the stations broadcasting digitally on the Internet "have not tapped the services offered by the network."
Meseguer Conesa, who has just published a book that is a result of the doctoral thesis defended at the University of Murcia, believes that these stations are "simply to be present on the Internet and simultaneously broadcast conventional programming through the network without develop radio option to the letter. "
The author also misses an update of content in many of the stations analyzed and an increased focus on international coverage, "as it continues the locale, regional or national."
On the other hand, concludes the author of this work published the editorial "Eurodtions" in the vast majority of stations studied "there is no professional independence of the radio medium conventional counterparts on the Internet."
For the study, analyzed Ángel Meseguer stations in Spain, both public and private, based in populations of 9,000 to 410,000 inhabitants.
