The renewal of street lighting is now extended to a total of 22 wards and parishes (18/02/2009)

Streets, squares, avenues, gardens and pedestrian areas, among other locations in the municipality of Murcia, will have new street lighting.

The Governing Board gave the green light this morning at the projects of renovation and improvement of lighting in the following neighborhoods and districts: District of Progress, Corvera, Barrio El Carmen, Beniaján, Era Alta, La Raya, Nonduermas, Patiño , corner Beniscornia, Rincon de Seca (two projects), the strut, the Albatalía, La Arboleja, San José de la Vega, Sangonera la Seca, La Ñora, Boatmen, Javalí New Javalí Viejo, Puebla de Soto, Llano de Brujas James and Zaraiche, James, and Zarandona.

In total there are 16 projects of renovation and improvement work on a total of 22 districts and districts of the municipality for a total of 3,121,000 euros.
