The Governing Council of the University of Murcia approved the master to replace the current CAP (13/02/2009)

The Governing Council of the University of Murcia, which met today in the House of the Faculty of Arts, adopted the Master's Degree in Teacher Education for Secondary School Education, Training and Teaching of Languages.

This will replace the current master teaching certificate (CAP) in compliance with the rules governing the process of European convergence.

The Masters, which will be attached to the Faculty of Education, but will include the involvement of different areas of knowledge, includes in its agenda a number of hours of practice in schools for teacher training and Vocational High School.

It will now be subject to verification by the National Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) so that, after authorization from the autonomous region, could be implanted in the next academic year.

The Governing Council, chaired by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, also approved the Corporate Visual Identity Manual of the University, which will from now on all official documents, as well as stationery, brochures and other publications of the institution.

The Manual incorporates the shield identified so far this educational institution.

The governing body also approved a number of cooperation agreements concluded with various agencies and entities, and various graduate courses, seminars and conferences.
