The Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia (IVS) and the city of Murcia are expected to be signed an agreement to finance the rehabilitation of the facades and roofs of 151 houses in the neighborhood of Los Almendros, in the hamlet of La Murcia Pool, south of the capital of the region.
This action fits into the line of collaboration promoted earlier this decade, the joint initiative of Community and Town Hall in recent years has allowed to execute the rehabilitation of facades and roofs of buildings comprising the districts of Santa Maria Vistabella grace and because of the high urban and architectural interest that both sets occur within the urban area of the city of Murcia.

In a first phase, will rehabilitate 79 homes and another 72 in a second, to complete the regeneration of this area to facilitate their full integration with the built environment.
The works will cost 2.2 million euros to be financed with a contribution of 1.1 million by the Institute of Housing and Lands, 550,000 euros of the City of Murcia, and the same amount paid by homeowners .
The intervention consist of placing a jacket over the existing one, which will rest on the front and rear facades and on the cement slabs that form the current deck.
