Discover the performance and characteristics of fuel-efficient cars, know how to retrieve the contaminated soil and take a tour of the stars are some of the deals that make the University of Murcia to the public tomorrow in "The Night of the researchers."
This activity will take place in the old artillery barracks of Murcia between 18 and 22 hours, will raise awareness for some of the investigations carried out this educational institution.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the aquarium and the Scientific Board of the University Museum, located in the pavilion that this institution has in the old barracks, and to participate in rocket building workshop.
Another possibility would be to play "Who's who?" A contest where participants must guess who is hiding under the robe of a practicing scientist and then identify some of your hobbies.
The purpose of this evening of researchers, to be held simultaneously in thirty countries and more than 150 European cities, is the promotion of science and, in particular scientists.
In Spain will be three official venues of this initiative, as with the University of Murcia are those of Gerona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
These activities have been organized by the Office of Research team, led by Professor Juan María Vázquez.
