Professor of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine, José Antonio Lozano Teruel is asked to deliver this year at the University of Murcia the inaugural lecture of the academic year 2008-2009, which will analyze the last half-century of this educational institution.

The event was held at 11.30 am on Friday, day 26 in the Faculty of Economics and Business, Campus de Espinardo.

In this event, chaired by the head of the regional government, Ramon Luis Valcarcel, will present the award for school spirit, convened by the Board of the University and in the latest edition has been awarded to former Dean of Veterinary Antonio Bernabé.

Also proceed to the reading of the Report for the past year, while the rector, José Antonio Cobacho will give the traditional speech.

Earlier, at 9.30 pm will be officiated a Mass of the Holy Spirit in the church of San Lorenzo.
