A new injection to enhance the activity of the shops in the neighborhood of El Carmen (24/09/2008)

A grant from the Department of Housing, Transport and Trade Merchants Association Barrio del Carmen allow establishments in this area enhance their appeal during a time of great commercial activity such as Christmas.

The aim is to give a holiday to neighbors and visitors during Christmas, while promoting trade in the area.

Thanks to a grant of 40,000 euros, Carmelite neighborhood merchants will decorate their premises and install special lighting on the streets.

Also children's activities organized to promote trade in the neighborhood.

This grant will also continue with the revitalization of the commercial area and that there will be a year of partnership between merchants and rehabilitate the information point located in the garden of Floridablanca.
