The regional government has approved a proposal from the Ministry of Finance, transfer to the Foundation which manages the implementation and development of Murcia Science Park, Building E, located in the Espinardo complex and the construction of new facilities this campus, which will be the first site of the Science Park.
It shall be done with the purpose of responding to the introduction of companies specializing in new technologies and in R + D + i have already shown interest in locating in the Science Park.
This is the third building donated by the regional government to the Foundation for rehabilitation and provision of business.
At this time, the Foundation is in full rehabilitation of the first building donated by the Executive, which will install the first unit of the Service, Ben Arabi Supercomputing Center and is expected to end in December 2008.
On the other hand, it is now also handles the competition stage for the second project award of temporary buildings, as well as improving access to them.
The four main areas of research in this complex will develop biotechnology, health, natural resources and information technology.
