The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, this morning attended the official presentation of the poster of the 9 th Meeting of Giants and Cabezudos Abarán villa, to be held next Sunday.
The poster is the work of Luis Perez Espinosa.
The ceremony took place at the premises of the European Group, located in the Ciudad del Transporte, Beniaján on the road behind the Eroski.
The Mayor has been awarded this year's title Gigantero of Honor by the Association of Big Headed Giants 'Pajero Uncle' by Abarán.
This distinction, which is awarded each year to outstanding personalities from the cultural, political and economic of the region, it honors the dedication and support of culture and festivals.
Chamber thanked the appointment and highlighted the excellent work done by the Association to foster and promote many cultural events Abarán.
The Meeting of Giants and Big-heads, which is international and attracts thousands of people in Abarán, will be held on December 21, Sunday.
