Sustainable Development established a special monitoring system in connection with the Pilgrimage of the Fuensanta (15/09/2008)

The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Planning, through the Directorate General of the Environment, has launched a special service monitoring and reporting for the protection of the Regional Park of El Valle and Carrascoy occasion of the Pilgrimage of Fuensanta.

The device developed by specialists of the Ministry, will have 40 people and coordinate the work of the Unit for Forest Fire Prevention (Udif), environmental agents and the information service unit belonging to the Public Use.

To achieve this objective, the Unit for Forest Fire Prevention, has extended the surveillance schedule today and has strengthened the area teams with the presence of forest brigades and Abarán Mula, who will join services monitoring of the brigades of El Valle and Murcia.

Also, environmental agents increase the surveillance of the area today, and also increase the number of service tomorrow.

It also establishes the special presence of the Equestrian Brigadier General Directorate of Natural Environment, so that a pair of environmental agents on horseback all day will cover the area between the House Forestry Regional Park and the crossing of the Teatinos , through the Sanctuary Fuensanta.
