136 controls the local police has made within the Security Plan Summer 2008 (08/09/2008)

Between 18 July and 31 August, local police have made 26 controls static and 110 mobile Murcia streets and districts.

Within the Security Plan Summer 2008, 80 complaints were made and 31 breath tests, of which 7 were completed in violation.

With the arrival of summer in the city of Murcia there is a major exodus of people towards their holiday destination.

This means that homes and commercial or industrial establishments are empty and often carelessly by family or neighbors.

This creates a serious concern to homeowners because they do not know how they will find their property to return from holiday.

Therefore it is necessary that the local police in Murcia pay attention to this phenomenon and establish preventive measures, and where appropriate enforcement to minimize the possible harm which might be these properties, for criminal acts such as theft or otherwise, such as be damaged by water spills, false alarms, fires, squatting, etc.

Prevention efforts developed by the special safety as its primary mission, have been carried out intensively during the weekends, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the hours of evening, selecting certain areas of the city and different districts.

Static controls are in place in various public roads open to traffic, then supplemented with mobile patrol vehicles and unmarked police labeled, and pursuing greater efficiency in the surveillance.
