The work planned by the Department of Education and staff to undertake in different schools in the municipality during the summer period have been completed, allowing the pupils begin the new school year 2008-2009 with no problems.
So far this year, there have been a total of 45 construction projects (amounting to 1,975,409.75 euros), of which 38 have been made during the summer.
During this period have been painted around 80,000 square meters of facades and interiors, were treated 5945.29 meters to square yards, 34 networks have been cleared of sanitation, there have been 179 repair toilets, taps were installed 317 with water saving aerator and adapters to existing ones have been repaired and replaced 1487.4 meters of fences, plaster and plaster were 1921.05 meters square, were placed 767.25 meters square of linoleum flooring in classrooms childhood education and placed 24 posters inscribed with the name of the school, plus it has formed three ramps.

Collaboration with the School-Workshop

DDD Program
Through this program was carried out pest control treatment, and disinfection for all public school facilities in the municipality.
This treatment has a validity period of six months, as is usually done twice a year.
