Murcia City Council will invest 13.1 million euros in the implementation of various infrastructure in the districts of the municipality.
That amount is divided among 82 projects of works to be implemented between 2008 and 2009.
This important contribution is the result of a collaboration agreement signed between the municipality and autonomous region.
The objective pursued is to get to people who live in districts a higher quality of life by making precise works that promote the improvement.
The agreement will continue growing on more and better services in both quality and quantity.
The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has this morning approved projects and specifications for a total of 12 construction projects in districts, by an amount exceeding two million euros.
Projects that have received approval this morning are:
Paving of roads and pavements in various streets of Llano de Brujas.
Strengthening and improving the lighting in the Esparragal.
Strengthening and improving street lighting in Sangonera la Seca.
Paving of the town of Dolores.
Paving the town of El Puntal.
Cobblestones on several downtown streets of Old Javalí.
Renovation of roads and sidewalks in the neighborhood of Gallego El Palmar.
Renovation of the garden of The Constitution of Sorrows.
Paving of roadways and sidewalks in The Albatalía.
Strengthening and improving street lighting in La Paz in La Alberca.
Street lighting in the garden of the Constitution of Cabezo de Torres.
Street lighting in some streets and sidewalks of El Raal.
