The Museum of Science and Water continues to lecture on neurology with the participation, on Thursday at 19 hours, Professor Constantino Sotelo, world renowned scientist for his work on the formation of cerebellar circuits and on molecules that govern growth.
The title of the lecture to be given tomorrow is' The problem of axonal regeneration in the central nervous system: the Ramón y Cajal to our days. "
Professor Sotelo is author of over 150 scientific publications and has lectured at leading universities, international conferences and meetings monograph on the development of the nervous system.
Awarded by the Foundation walk on his studies of neuronal plasticity, has been president of the European Society of Neuroscience and, since 2000, holds the Chair in Developmental Neurobiology at the University Miguel Hernández of Alicante and researcher at the Consejo Superior Scientific Research (CSIC).
