More than two hundred young people take part in the Scientific Olympics UCAM (11/02/2016)

The Catholic University of Murcia held this morning at their Scientific Olympics attended by over two hundred students of 1st and 2nd Secondary, Vocational Training and Higher Level Region, belonging to the Capuchin schools, Marist, Mira Sierra, San Jorge, El Limonar, King's College Murcia;

institutes Juan Carlos I and John of the Cross;

and the Higher Institute of FP San Antonio.

Divided into groups, according to the chosen telecommunications, computer, food, languages, sports, nursing, management and business administration, and architecture area students have developed different theoretical and practical tests.

Estrella Nunez, Vice President for Research UCAM;

and Luis Tejada, director of the Office of Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) have been young, and have defined these scientific Olympics as a stimulus for the study in different areas of knowledge.

"With these Olympics is what we want to convey the culture of effort, that our young people understand that the work is always rewarded", said Estrella Nunez.

In addition, the Vice President for Research has highlighted the great reception given to this year's competition by schools and colleges, and recalled the important collaboration of the Seneca Foundation in this event.

Awards

Soon they will be announced the winners will receive, for each of the areas, the financing of 100% of the enrollment of the first course, for the winner, 50% for the second, and 25% for third.
