A new document will include the contributions and suggestions made yesterday by the residents and businesses in the meeting convened by the City Council to discuss the draft remodeling project Ronda Norte avenues and Primo de Rivera and the Plaza Díez de Revenga.
The meeting, which lasted over an hour and a half, was promoted by Roque Ortiz and Lola Sanchez, councilors of Public Works and Transport, Safety and Civil Protection, to obtain the views and alternative municipal boards and locals.
After listening and taking note of the shared ideas, he concluded the meeting with a commitment to municipal officials to incorporate these proposals to the original document and a second meeting within a fortnight approximate to report the new proposal.
Most of the interventions from the floor focused on the construction of a central median, maintenance of parking spaces, widening sidewalks, creating bike lane segregated or maintenance of left turn two crosses of the two avenues.
Municipal technicians now work on possible alternatives.
They will try to adjust the different options for the bike path, you can go through placement in the central line of the avenues or make bidirectional;
for parking, you could stay in line and battery;
for the obligation to maintain the median to allow left turn or not;
and even the possibility of modifying the project to include extending the sidewalks, which was not foreseen in the initial project.
In addition, the City will head to Aguas de Murcia to study the feasibility of remodeling to take this also renovating pipes and sanitation.
For this next meeting Ortiz Roque also announced its intention to present a possible advance on the timing of the project and a "reasonable" plan to support the works with everyday life for residents and traders.
