Social Rights meets new social projects of the Association of Gypsy Feminists for Diversity (09/02/2016)

The Councillor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, held a meeting with the Association of Gypsy Feminists for Diversity, which has requested support from the City to start his career in Murcia and create the first House of Gypsy Feminists.

The Association recently established state-wide, aims to develop policies on diversity, against Gender Violence and Rumani feminism and is defined as a "protest movement to make visible to the gypsy woman, breaking prejudices and stereotypes."

During the meeting, which was attended, Carmen Fernandez Molina, national vice president of the Association;

Ana Hernandez Lozano, treasurer;

and Fernando Ruiz Molina, a lawyer and member of the Association of representatives of the Association, explained the Councillor, who are finalizing details for the organization of the First Congress Feminist Rumani to be held in Madrid and will attend twenty women Gypsy of Murcia.

To do this, they have said they will form a working committee from which to address issues of violence against women and feminism.

To do this, they have also requested the assistance of the City of Murcia.
