Murcia Circus Theatre will host next Wednesday adapting texts Valle Inclan entitled 'Greed, lust and death' latest production Sleepless Theater, under the direction of César Bernard, former professor at the College of Art dramatic Murcia
César Bernad is regarded by the profession as a very special director, with a view of the very particular scene, with its own scenic universe that always transcends the everyday and it brings to the text views that have little or nothing to do with what conventional or what we're used to seeing on stage.
On this occasion, which is his comeback after retiring as a professor of the ESAD Murcia, Bernard brings three texts scene of Valle Inclán grouped under one title, 'Greed, lust and death', in which all kinds of situations occur: mystery, comedy, tragedy, drama-tinged soap opera ... in short, "a roller coaster that runs wild in the pupil of the viewer, a lively and intense show," according to company overview Sleepless Elche Theatre.
"We have tried to deal with these texts freed of all constraints that historically has charged the Inclán writing and allow a view of Valle Inclán according to the formal and expressive evolution that has taken place at the scene of the century", added from Sleepless, "and this has been our desire.. look at these texts as if they were written today was not difficult the human condition remains the same: greed, lust and death, but also the pity saves us and justifies us. The premiere of this theatrical Murcia proposal will be next Wednesday, February 10, at 21 hours.
